Our Character

What’s important to us

Learning

Learning positively impacts our society, economy and the environment. We believe that everyone should have access to formal education regardless of their background, and we want to develop pathways that allow access to education through social barriers. We believe in lifelong learning, and in developing and discovering new ways to teach so that teachers and students are equipped with relevant skills for the future.

Collaboration

We believe working together leads to more impactful and lasting change. This is why we encourage both students and teachers to become champions of the NTUTORR programme. The programme itself is intrinsically collaborative as it relies on the participation of our seven partner institutes. By working together, we can devise a programme that not only changes the teaching methods of a particular institute, but transforms learning across Ireland and increases the employability of graduates and their ability to adapt in a digital world.

Technology

Technology continues to transform how we live our lives and it has already had a massive impact on how students learn. We believe in researching & developing technologies that will continue to improve the student experience, equality and sustainability.
